Skate Fit is a weekly learn to skate program that has been designed by Gippsland Ranges, with a focus on fun and fitness in a low pressure, social environment. It runs weekly throughout the school terms across two locations of Churchill and Korumburra. All genders, backgrounds, experience and ages (16+) are welcome. Our trainers aim to create a welcoming and supportive environment where all levels of skaters can challenge themselves, stay fit, make friends and have fun!

Skate Fit can also be a gateway for those wanting to play Roller Derby, become a Referee or even a Skate Trainer – each person’s skating journey is unique, and we aim to create opportunities for everyone. If you’re interested in trying out Roller Derby, we recommend our new “Derby Lite” program that will be happening in Meeniyan in Term 3 (same registration steps as below)

Mondays, 6:30 – 8:30pm

Korumburra Secondary College
Thursdays, 7:00-9:00pm

Meeniyan Basketball Stadium (Derby Lite program)
Thursdays, 7:00 – 9:00pm

PRICING

Skating fees consist of two elements:
$120 Skate Fit fee payable to Gippsland Ranges Roller Derby
and $53 Insurance payable to Skate Australia, all paid in one convenient payment once you register on revsport.

All skaters must wear a mouth guard, elbow pads, wrist guards and knee pads (plus skates, of course!).

Skate & PPE Hire is FREE for your first term, you can supply your own mouth guard, or we can provide a skate specific one for an additional $50.

If you require Skate & PPE Hire after your first term, it is charged at $50 per term.
